I cannot edit or even start a new document on Word. Can you help me resolve this problem please. I get this message in a box below the Bar with VIEW ONLY YOUR ACCOUNT DOES NOT ALLOW EDITING ON A MAC. I have an Office 365 account through a student email address and a Mac with up-to-date software. Recently Microsoft Word has been crashing a lot, but other than that working ok. Today it crashed and when I reopened it I got a ribbon that said 'Your account doesn't allow editing on a mac.

My only other option, which I have been doing for a couple of years, is to run Win Office on my XP emulator.

I have a Microsoft office 365 account from my university which is good until 2 years after I graduate.
